To know the history of this enigmatic place we must go back to the eleventh century, time in which Madrid was recovering from the battles between Christians and Muslims after the Reconquest of Alfonso VI el Bravo. And is that the hotel is located on top of one of the best preserved sections of the Christian wall, in a protected historic building that houses a 19th century corrala. For this reason, the hotel has several glazed areas, inviting guests to take a trip to the past while enjoying, for example, a traditional breakfast at La Antoñita, La Posada's restaurant. Although the jewel in the crown is undoubtedly the room overlooking the wall, a luxury for anyone who wants to rest on one of the oldest monuments of the city with the comforts of our time.
